Canterbury University has had a heap of trouble with its buildings after the earthquakes. Because of this the need for carpet tile for their portacoms was desperate, 5,000m2 needed immediately. Dealing with Interface supplied by INZIDE Commercial means dealing with global production strength. The 15,000m2 arrived on time and exactly to specification.
Soon after the James Hight building needed to be refurbished. Now the game had changed. With continuing shakes and subsequent engineering inspections of floor plates a non-adhesive solution was required that would still be dimensionally stable. Interface are the global flooring specialists and the solution here was called Tac-Tiles. A non-adhesive dimensionally stable installation system that is so easy to use. That sorted out the engineers.
Now the Designers. It needed to be cost effective but be bold in colour & pattern. Looking into the extensive pattern bank, Weave quickly showed itself as being a winner. What a great floor plate.
