ANZ had a strategic problem. The Lloyds black stallion was no longer available for National Bank to use. Concurrently the two banks though operated separately were owned by the same parent. The strategic problem was how to merge the two branches without losing customers.
Part of the solution was to upgrade the existing ANZ branches to take on more of the premium cues present in the National bank fitouts - i.e. lots of wood and warm browns.
And this is where the Interface carpet tile supplied by INZIDE Commercial came into their own. The Interface range is vast. ASC was able to surf through the ranges and finally settle on a front of house carpet tile (Polygon 1) and back of house carpet tile (level 6 Terrain). Both combine random elements with striated patterning to provide both a very sophisticated look but also deal with soiling that is commonplace with branches. A lot goes into Interface’s design – after all they are the global carpet tile specialists so should know their stuff.
In addition Interface carpet tile has
Life-time anti-microbial built into the carpet tile.
15 year wear and performance warranty.
Solution dyed nylon – no sunfade and easy to remove stains and spills.
Best life-time value of any soft flooring in the industry.
So flooring solution sorted, and walking into any branch across the country you can certainly see the impact this flooring has within the spatial design.
ASIDE: INZIDE Commercial prides itself on its service delivery credentials and looking after its national accounts. During the earthquakes in CHCH, we were able to divert a container of ANZ product to land directly into Timaru (Lyttleton being shut). We were then able to supply branch carpet tile within 4 hours as remedials were happening in a very fluid way. That’s why large floorplate owners utilise INZIDE Commercial. Small enough to care, large enough to cover all the bases.
