In mid February 2018 we invited some key architects to be our guests at an exclusive Paul Hawken event in Sydney. The team had the opportunity to meet Paul personally and hear him speak about his new book Drawdown which provides an in-depth look at the 100 most substantive solutions that, if scaled, could reverse global warming. Surprisingly, two key carbon reduction proposals are educating girls and leaving land in indigenous peoples’ hands (ie Brazilian rain forest)
Paul Hawken is an American environmentalist, entrepreneur, author and activist. He has been coaching Interface since 1995 when he joined a group of outside consultants responsible to help make Interface the world’s leading company in industrial ecology. Mission Zero by 2020 was a key outcome of the work Paul did with Interface.
Our guests were all gifted a copy of his book, details of which you can find here.
