Invercargill library sits in the heart of Invercargill with coffee shops, hairdressers, gyms and many other assorted retail all around it.
The call from the Council was to make a bold statement with the library. Also ensure that community events could be held there and encourage all levels of learning and expression.
So the flooring needed to be jazzy, zingy & punch with colour. It also needed to be hardy and ensure that it would cope with soiling, hard wear and heavy traffic throughout.
