Canopy Cancer Care North Shore

Canopy Cancer Care provides private cancer treatment. They have with units based in Whangarei, Auckland and Tauranga. When the North Shore Clinic moved premises, the design proposal for the new unit was to create a modern, welcoming and comfortable space. Choosing materials that were easy to clean and maintain was a priority. And due to the low immunity of patients, having products that contained built in anti-microbials were beneficial.

Interface carpet tiles supplied by Inzide are the perfect fit for healthcare environments. With a lifetime, anti-microbial called “Inter-sept” built into the tile it protects against a broad spectrum of molds, mildew, bacteria and odor-causing microorganisms that can affect flooring. It’s especially effective at inhibiting bacterial and mold growth where carpet edges meet. Interface carpet tiles are also tufted with colourfast, solution-dyed nylon yarn which provides superior appearance retention in even the toughest environments.

The neutral colours chosen for the reception floors match with the texture of the walls and desk, creating a delightful welcoming feel. For the corridors, a mix of grey and green hues bring harmony and movement to the space, using texture in a creative way.
