In their new facility in the Waikato they were after a design aesthetic for their office spaces that reflected New Zealand. Anti-static Marmolem, Marmoleum Ohmex by global resilient flooring leader, Forbo Flooring Systems was specified to provide a natural alternative to vinyl while still meeting the anti-static requirements for high-tech machinery. Surestep Laguna Safety Vinyl was used in areas where slip was a concern and Sphera Homogeneous Vinyl was used in the general use zones.

With an investment such as this in 2000+m2 of flooring it is important that it is protected from unnecessary contaminants for the longevity of the flooring and appearance retention. Coral Entrance Matting by Forbo is designed to ensure contamination, dirt and grit is not brought into a building and transferred between different areas, removing up to 95% of contaminants from footwear as a person passes over it, it was the obvious solution for Tomra’s diverse use facility.
